A whisper guides you in the house. On the highway, she tells you when to go.
How to play
- Slide up a little
- You creep, slowly and quietly.
- Slide up far
- You run. Running is loud.
- Slide sideways
- You turn. A tick marks each eighth of a turn. A second finger can do the turning.
- Phone shakes
- You touched something: a wall, a tree, a painted line.
- Lift your finger
- You stop.
- Tap twice
- With guidance on: hear which way to go. After you die: try again.
- The House
- He hunts by sound. Creep and he can't hear you. When he is close, don't move.
- The Highway
- Listen for a gap between the cars and cross one lane at a time. The phone shakes on every painted line. The middle strip is safe.
- The Forest
- It moves only when you move, always a little faster than you. Follow the wind chimes, steer away from crackling branches, run through the stream.
Put both earbuds in, the right way round. Sounds behind you are duller. The phone only shakes on Android; on iPhone you hear a thud instead. On a computer the mouse is captured: move it to turn, hold the left button or W to walk, Shift to run, S to back up. Space gives a hint, skips or retries, Esc frees the mouse, M shows the map.
